Eduardo Kobra's Record Mural for Rio Olympics

Brazilian muralist Eduardo Kobra is creating a massive mural titled 'We Are All One' for the Rio de Janeiro Olympics, commissioned by the organizing committee and the city. The mural covers 3,000 square meters on a wall in the renovated port district, featuring the faces of five indigenous people representing the continents: Karen from Thailand (Asia), Huli from Papua New Guinea (Oceania), Tapajos from Brazilian Amazon (Americas), Chukchi from Siberia (Europe), and Mursi from Ethiopia (Africa). The artwork uses the Olympic ring colors: blue, yellow, black, green, and red. It is expected to be completed just before the opening ceremony on August 5, 2016. Kobra and his assistants are applying final touches.
