Edson and Tilks Collaborate on 'our hands meet, please stay' at Zuzeum, Riga
Beginning on July 4, the Zuzeum Greenhouse at the Zuzeum Art Museum in Riga will showcase 'our hands meet, please stay,' an exhibition featuring the works of Jamieson Edson and Virgilijs Tilks. Edson, who resides in Boston, specializes in analogue photography, converting images into abstract forms. His artwork has been exhibited throughout New England and is part of Simmons University's collection. Tilks, who graduated from the Art Academy of Latvia in 2023, has experience in curation and held his inaugural solo exhibition in Salem, Massachusetts, in 2024. Their collaborative installation includes modular designs, laser-engraved fabrics, and layered plywood, delving into concepts of intimacy and distance. Admission is complimentary during museum hours.
