Édith Roux's Landscape Survey at Centre de la photographie Nord-Pas-de-Calais

Édith Roux's exhibition at the Centre de la photographie Nord-Pas-de-Calais in Douchy-les-mines, running from October 19, 2013 to January 26, 2014, presents twenty-five viewpoints selected from a commission by the Observatoire photographique du paysage du Parc naturel transfrontalier du Hainaut. Over two years (spring 2009, winter 2009-2010, spring 2011), Roux documented territorial mutations through triptychs, polyptychs, and single shots. The work balances objective expectations from the commissioning body with her subjective, multiplied perspective, incorporating constraints and dialogues with local actors.
