Edit! architects have completed the Na Kukačkách mountain chalet in the Krkonoše Mountains of Czechia, with construction finishing in 2025. The project was curated by Hadir Al Koshta and features a timber structure by 3AE. Lead architects Ivan Boroš, Juraj Calaj, and Vítězslav Danda designed the 214-square-meter house, which blends traditional exterior elements with innovative interior spaces. The exterior incorporates a stone plinth and timber cladding that respects regional architectural traditions. Construction was handled by contractor Registav, with photography by BoysPlayNice. Numerous manufacturers contributed products, including Archtiles, David Čáp, DesignVille, Devoto, Inox, Konsepti, Monobrand, Optimal Interier Design, Parket Atelier, Saunako, Setec, and Wellder. Co-author Iveta Kopecká also contributed to the project. The chalet represents a contemporary interpretation of mountain architecture while maintaining sensitivity to its surroundings.
