École Normale de Musique de Paris Launches 'Résonances' Concert Series Honoring George Sand and Frédéric Chopin
The École Normale de Musique de Paris has introduced a new concert series named 'Résonances,' with the Fondation Signature serving as its founding patron. The first edition honors George Sand and Frédéric Chopin through a unique creation crafted, adapted, and directed by Anne-Laure Liégeois. Musical direction is led by Marc Laforêt, a faculty member of the École Normale de Musique de Paris, who also performs Chopin's works. This production is inspired by Sand's novel 'Lucrezia Floriani,' penned at Nohant, the residence shared by Sand and Chopin. Featuring seven musicians and seven actors, the performance narrates the tale of Lucrezia and Karol, commemorating the 150th anniversary of Sand's passing. The shows will be held at Salle Cortot and are a collaborative event with Club Artistik Rezo.
