Écofemmes Fest: Paris Festival Merges Art, Feminism, and Ecology
The inaugural Écofemmes Fest, hosted by the nonprofit Minerva, is set to take place at La Caserne in Paris from November 7 to 9, 2025. Minerva, founded by Francesca Rozzi and Sveva Saglimbeni, aims to support emerging female artists and foster an inclusive narrative in art history, grounded in ecofeminism. Among the artists showcased are Isadora Romero (Ecuador, 1987), Gabriela Larrea Almeida (Quito/Paris), and Clémence Vazard (France, 1985). The event features a vernissage, workshops, screenings, roundtable discussions, a panel on the sustainable art economy, and an ecofeminist market, alongside performances and DJ sets. Minerva was created following Rozzi and Saglimbeni's master's studies, focusing on collaborative exchanges among artists, activists, and audiences.
