exhibition · 2026-05-05

Ebano Gallery has opened in Milan with the exhibition 'Primi nel mezzo,' curated by art director Rabi Diop under the patronage of collector Christoph Jenny. The show presents a cross-disciplinary mix of African contemporary art, design, fashion, sculpture, and music. Featured artists include Beninese sculptor Kifouli Dossou, whose wooden masks were worn by models during the opening, alongside textile works by Johanna Bramble using natural fibers, silk, metal, and fiber optics. Accessories by Toubab Paris and creations by Senegalese designer Ousmane Mbaye, who uses metal and recycled materials, are also on view. The exhibition runs until January 20, 2016, at Ebano Gallery, Via Ventura 6, Milan.
