Earl of East founders release rental home design book 'Home for Now'
Paul Firmin and Niko Dafkos, founders of London-based lifestyle brand Earl of East, have published 'Home for Now: Living Well Without Staying Long' with Gestalten. The book features 40 rental homes across the UK and USA, aiming to show renters how to inject personality into temporary spaces. Firmin and Dafkos selected eight favorites, including a converted workshop in Stoke Newington, a railroad apartment in Greenpoint, and a Koreatown Spanish Mediterranean house. The homes demonstrate reversible renovations, thrifted furnishings, and emotional layering through inherited objects. Photography by Sarah Victoria Bates.
