exhibition · 2026-05-18

So, the exhibition 'Dyani White Hawk: Love Language' wrapped up at the Walker Art Center around mid-February, and it got a lot of positive reviews and good turnout. Later in April, it’s set to open again at Remai Modern in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Thrivent, the main sponsor, was key in making the Walker's exhibit happen. Their CEO, Teresa Rasmussen, who also serves as a trustee at the Walker, mentioned that Thrivent sees art as a way to inspire and connect communities. Additionally, White Hawk’s works are part of the Thrivent Art Collection at their Minneapolis Corporate Center. Joanna Lindell, the chief curator there, said that Dyani’s pieces encourage us to think about love, language, and community strength.
