DUDD LITE: Over 130 Artists Reinvent the Nightlight
Over 130 artists have transformed the humble nightlight into a sculptural object in 'DUDD LITE', a collaboration between design collective Dudd Haus and gallery The Future Perfect. Curated from nearly 400 open-call submissions, the exhibition features nightlights made from stained glass, wood, sea shells, ceramic, and cotton. Works include James Burial's 'Doom n’ Bloom', Normalcy's 'Extension Cord Germination', Chris Wolston's 'Legs for Days', Nicholas Holmes' 'Fire Light', Mark Dineen's 'Rite Lite', and Mikei Huang's 'Wavy Night Dancer'. On view through June 26, the show blurs the line between sculpture and functional object.
