Dubai Design Week 2016: Norman Foster, Jean Nouvel, and 150+ Events Across the City

Dubai Design Week 2016 is set to take place from October 24 to 29, featuring more than 150 events and receiving support from Audi, Huawei, Swarovski, and Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The primary venue is Dubai Design District (d3), which is supported by TECOM Group and includes eleven buildings dedicated to galleries, design shops, and dining options. A Creative Community spanning one million square meters is currently being developed. Italian brands such as Artemide, Moroso, and Superstudio will present works by renowned designers like Norman Foster, Naoto Fukasawa, and Jean Nouvel. Emerging talents can participate in workshops at various studios and attend conferences at the American University of the Emirates, while The Craft Journey by Etqaan provides design resources.
