Dual exhibition at Galleria Boccanera pairs Avram's melancholic interiors with Loskot's cosmic installations

Galleria Boccanera in Trento presents two concurrent solo exhibitions: Cristian Avram's "The Place we call home" in the Project Room and Richard Loskot's "Cosmology Model" in the main space. Avram, a Romanian painter born in 1994, creates figurative, melancholic works with cinematic realism depicting empty interiors filled with traces of daily life. The installation reconstructs the studio-home of Sutu in the Romanian countryside, where Avram recently moved, exploring routines and rituals that create a sense of home. In contrast, Loskot's "Heaven on Earth" installation uses a camera to project outer space, while "Cosmology Model" employs a Moebius strip and polarized film to reveal a starry sky, symbolizing infinity. Another work, "Uniqueness," uses amplifier bass to move black dice into unpredictable configurations, mirroring life's randomness. The exhibitions juxtapose opposing conceptions of space, time, and artistic technique.
