Dsquared2 x Londonart: wallpaper collection launched in Milan

architecture-design · 2026-04-27

Fashion brand Dsquared2, founded by twin brothers Dean and Dan Caten, has entered the design world with its first wallpaper collection, created in collaboration with Londonart, an Italian wallpaper specialist. The collection draws on Dsquared2's iconic motifs and best-sellers from its over 20-year history, emphasizing timeless classicism, symmetry, and clean forms. The launch took place at Londonart's showroom in Piazza San Marco 4, Brera, Milan—a space originally designed as a home-studio by architect Gae Aulenti in 1974. The renovation, led by architect Fabio Fantolino, preserved the original layout while adding colorful touches characteristic of Londonart. Londonart was founded by Nicola Bottegal in 2011, focusing on exclusive wallpapers with innovative design and high-quality materials. Bottegal, also CEO and art director, stated that the collaboration with Dsquared2 was a natural fit, praising the brand's informal, ironic style. The Caten twins noted that the collection expands their lifestyle vision, which began with their Ceresio 7 restaurant and bar in Milan and Mykonos. The showroom spans three floors, showcasing different settings for the wallpapers. The project marks a milestone for Londonart's 10th anniversary, with Bottegal viewing it as a starting point for future innovative projects.
