Drodesera Festival 2019 explores Ipernatural theme with 39th edition
The Drodesera Festival, marking its 39th edition, will take place in Dro, Italy, from July 24 to 27, 2019, with an early preview on June 30 showcasing Anagoor's Orestea/Agamennone, Schiavi, and Conversio. Live Works vol.7 is scheduled for July 19 to 21. Under the theme Ipernatural, set by artistic director Barbara Boninsegna, the festival investigates the hybrid forms of organisms and fossils. Boninsegna, who co-founded the festival with Dino Sommadossi, collaborates with curators Filippo Andreatta, Simone Frangi, Denis Isaia, Sara Enrico, and Alma Söderberg. Notable artists include Chiara Bersani and CollettivO CineticO. The Free School of Performance will feature guests such as Invernomuto and Trajal Harrell.
