Drodesera Festival 2017: CollettivO CineticO and Michikazu Matsune

festival-fair · 2026-05-05

The Drodesera Festival XXXVII in Dro, Trento, featured performances by CollettivO CineticO and Michikazu Matsune. CollettivO CineticO, directed by Francesca Pennini, presented 'Amleto', a contest between professional and amateur actors vying for the title of protagonist, guided only by an instruction manual and a voiceover. Michikazu Matsune, a Vienna-based artist, performed 'Dance, if you want to enter my country!', inspired by the 2008 incident at Tel Aviv airport where dancer Abdur Rahim Jackson was forced to dance to prove his profession. The festival also includes video interviews curated by Dalila D'Amico, Marta Federici, and Chiara Pirri as part of the Superconnected project by Centrale Fies, which aims to hybridize roles between artist and critic.
