DRIFT's Meadow Installation Illuminates Rouen Church

exhibition · 2026-05-27

Dutch studio DRIFT presents Meadow, an installation of giant levitating flowers that slowly open and close like neon water lilies, at the Église Sainte-Croix-des-Pelletiers in Rouen. The church, a heritage gem in the city center, reopens after years of abandonment for this event. The installation evokes Monet, who spent weeks in Zaandam in 1871 mesmerized by canal reflections, an obsession he later continued at Giverny. The exhibition runs from May 30 to September 27, 2026, at La NEF, 22 rue Sainte-Croix des Pelletiers, 76000 Rouen.
