Dream City 2025 Announces Artist Lineup for Multidisciplinary Festival in Tunis

From October 3 to 19, 2025, Dream City will take place in Tunis, Tunisia, spanning 32 venues and showcasing a variety of artists interacting with the cityscape. This tenth edition features nine categories, including the Dream Exhibition, curated by Tarek Abou El Fetouh, titled Suni’a Bisihrika (Made with Your Magic), which highlights the works of 20 artists. Following its Tunis debut, this exhibition will tour to Beirut, Jeddah, and Baghdad, returning to Tunis in 2027 as both a publication and exhibition. Over two years, supported artists will unveil commissioned pieces in visual arts, performance, dance, theatre, and cinema in unique locations such as public squares and abandoned buildings. Dream Collaborations includes partnerships with the Sharjah Art Foundation and the Evidence festival by Fisher Center LAB, linked to Bard College's Center for Human Rights and the Arts. Other categories, like Dream Creations and Dream Concerts, aim to engage local communities and tackle pressing issues. Established in 2007 by choreographers Selma and Sofiane Ouissi, with Jan Goossens joining in 2015, this biennial festival promotes multidisciplinary interactions and community dialogue.
