Dragon Ball Returns to Cinema with Special Event

Dragon Ball, the iconic manga created by Akira Toriyama in 1984, returns to Italian cinemas with a special event from March 17 to 19, 2025. The event features the 14th feature film, 'Dragon Ball Z: La battaglia degli dei', originally released in 2013. Organized by Nexo Studios as part of the 'Stagione Anime al Cinema', the film will be screened in its extended version (with 20 minutes of unseen scenes) in original language with Italian subtitles on March 16, and in a dubbed 85-minute version on the following days. The story follows the awakening of Beerus, the god of destruction, who threatens Earth and the universe, forcing Goku to ascend to Super Saiyan God. The series has 62 Italian manga volumes, 21 films, and extensive merchandising, making it one of the most popular Japanese products globally.
