DRAA's Fire-Resistant Cabin Blends into Chilean Forest
Architecture firm DRAA, led by Nicolás del Río and Felipe Camus, completed the Refugio Huerquehue in 2021, a 45-square-meter cabin in the Chilean forest. Curated by Valentina Díaz, the project was commissioned by a couple familiar with Byung-Chul Han's ideas, who required the cabin to resist forest fires and visually disappear into the landscape. Collaborators included Matías Rivera and Daniela Farías. Photographs by Marcos Zegers.
