Dot to Dot: London's Circular Digital Art Exhibition Spans Streets and Internet

Since January 12, London has been dotted with circular artworks in public spaces from Covent Garden to Borough Market's Market Hall, part of the Dot to Dot project organized by Dot London Domains Ltd, a division of London & Partners. The exhibition celebrates the .london top-level domain, created through ICANN's program for new internet domains. All works are strictly circular, referencing the dot in domain names. The physical installations have digital counterparts as animated GIFs, which are experiencing a peak in popularity due to compatibility with social networks like Pinterest and Facebook. The project runs until the end of next month and includes twenty different artistic interpretations of the circular format.
