institutional · 2026-04-20

Starting this September, Doryun Chong will take on the role of Chief Curator at M+ in the West Kowloon Cultural District of Hong Kong, joining Dr. Lars Nittve's team. Previously, since 2009, he served as the Associate Curator of Painting and Sculpture at MoMA in New York, where he curated solo shows for notable artists like Ernesto Neto, Bruce Nauman, and Henrik Olesen. His 2012 exhibition, Tokyo 1955-1970: A New Avant-Garde, was highlighted by the New York Times as one of the year's best museum exhibitions.
