Dorothy Circus Gallery Opens Temporary London Space for 10th Anniversary
In October 2017, Dorothy Circus Gallery, known for its focus on lowbrow and pop surrealism, marks its tenth anniversary by launching a temporary location in London for 90 days. Situated at 79-81 Ledbury Road in Notting Hill, the new venue is nestled between Westbourne Grove and Portobello Road, an area selected by gallerist Alexandra Mazzanti for its vibrant yet relaxed charm. Mazzanti, who moved to London in September 2017, hopes to establish a permanent presence by 2018. The inaugural exhibition, 'Pages from Mind Travellers’ Diaries,' showcases works from six prominent artists, including Kazuki Takamatsu (JP) and Joe Sorren (USA), with prices ranging from £15,000 to £40,000. The exhibition runs from October 13 to December 15, 2017, followed by a group show in Rome in November 2017. Future plans also include a temporary space in Japan.
