Dopo? creative coworking space opens in Milan's Corvetto district
A new creative space called Dopo? has opened in Milan's Corvetto district, blending coworking and cultural activities. The project received €25,000 from the Comune di Milano through the Scuola dei Quartieri initiative, which provides micro-grants to foster young entrepreneurship in peripheral neighborhoods. Located near the high-speed train station, the Olympic districts of Santa Giulia and Scalo Romana, and existing cultural hubs like Galleria Zero and Viafarini, Dopo? is already fully booked with a waiting list. Founders Bianca Felicori, Carlotta Franco, and Salvatore Peluso, along with collectives PLSTCT, Fosbury Architecture, and Parasite 2.0, aim to revive an abandoned workshop between Corvetto and Porto di Mare. Current tenants include design studio Finemateria, set designer Michela Croci, gardening project ASS Eclectic Gardener by Andrea Sebastiano Sarli, architects Isabella Del Grandi and Matteo Andrenelli, fashion collective Plas, jewelry startup MXS, creative agency Blue Chips Studio (Sara Olivetti and Tommaso Biagetti), architects Francesco Tincani, Agnese Casadio, and Richard Ceccanti Aston (Studio RCAA), and artist Francesca Pionati (VEGA collective). The space is managed by the Associazione Dopolavoro, which won the 3rd call of Scuola dei Quartieri. The 4th call launches February 28, 2022, offering up to €30,000 per project, with applications open until April 29.
