festival-fair · 2026-05-05

Donato Sansone's animated short 'Journal animé' (2015), commissioned by French broadcaster Canal+ for a series on freedom of expression, features provocative sequences including Hitler taking a selfie and the Pope transforming into a killer. The work uses photographs from the French newspaper Libération, selected from issues published between September 15 and November 15, 2015, created weeks after the tragic Paris attacks. The video is part of the 26th edition of Invideo, the International Exhibition of Film and Video Beyond, directed by Romano Fattorossi and Sandra Lischi, held in Milan from November 17 to 20, 2016, at Spazio Oberdan and Sala Alda Merini, Istituto Europeo di Design.
