Dolomiti Contemporanee: Seven Years of Cultural Regeneration in the Dolomites

Since its establishment in 2011, Dolomiti Contemporanee (DC) has been revitalizing neglected locations in the Dolomites and is now entering its seventh year. With collaboration as its focus, DC has partnered with 500 organizations rather than relying solely on funding. Presently, 'Fuocoapaesaggio' is showcased at Forte di Monte Ricco, featuring 21 artists curated by Gianluca D'Incà Levis and Giovanna Repetto, alongside a segment dedicated to Titian's influence. Nearly 600 artists have participated in residencies, with significant contributions from Simone Cametti at Colonia di Borca and Giorgio Orbi's projects. The 'Dislivello' initiative sees artists journeying from Garbagnate Milanese to Borca. A workshop is scheduled for August, with a new exhibition debuting on August 5 at Nuovo Spazio di Casso al Vajont. DC operates on a budget of 700,000-800,000 euros, with 10% sourced from public funding.
