Dolly Parton has canceled her Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum Theatre at Caesars Palace, originally postponed from December 2025 to September 2026, as she continues treatment for kidney stones. The 80-year-old country music star announced the cancellation on social media, stating she is "responding really well to meds and treatments" and improving daily, but needs more time to be "stage-performance ready." Parton joked about her dizziness while carrying banjos and guitars in 5-inch heels and heavy rhinestone outfits. She expressed regret to ticket holders but encouraged them to enjoy Vegas. Despite the cancellation, Parton remains active: recording music, making videos, visiting Dollywood, writing a Broadway musical, and planning to open a museum and hotel in Nashville later this year.
