other · 2026-04-27

Italian luxury fashion house Dolce & Gabbana has partnered with the popular manga and anime series Jujutsu Kaisen to create a special collection. The collaboration, titled Dolce & Gabbana x Jujutsu Kaisen, merges Italian sartorial excellence with Japanese pop culture. The collection is available since April 2022 in select boutiques in Japan, including Isetan's Men in Shinjuku and ZeroBase in Shibuya, by appointment only. At ZeroBase, an illustration by anime director Sunghoo Park is on display. The line features streetwear-inspired items such as sneakers, pants, accessories, bags, t-shirts, cotton and jersey sweatshirts, and nylon jackets with 3D screen and digital prints and Japanese ideograms. The collection draws inspiration from Tokyo's vibrant neighborhoods like Harajuku and Shibuya. Jujutsu Kaisen originated as a manga by Gege Akutami in 2018 in Weekly Shōnen Jump, has sold 45 million volumes, and spawned an anime series in 2020 and a film. Previous anime and manga fashion collaborations include Doraemon with Nike and Gucci, Naruto with Michael B. Jordan and Coach, Akira apparel, Sailor Moon clothing, and Moschino's Anime Antoinette collection inspired by Lady Oscar.
