Doge Collections of Genoa on Show at Venaria Reale

At the Venaria Reale in Turin, the exhibition 'Magnifiche collezioni. Arte e potere nella Genova dei Dogi' showcases approximately 100 artworks from the 17th and 18th centuries, featuring paintings, sculptures, bronzes, silverware, and decorative items. Notable pieces include works by Peter Paul Rubens, Antoon Van Dyck, Orazio Gentileschi, and others, alongside creations from Genoese artists like Bernardo Strozzi and Giovanni Benedetto Castiglione. Curated by Gianluca Zanelli and others, this event is organized by the Consorzio delle Residenze Reali Sabaude in partnership with the Musei Nazionali di Genova and will be open until September 7, 2025.
