Dodi Design debuts Peo's collection of handcrafted iron furniture at Milan Design Week 2026

Dodi Design, founded in 2024 by Maddalena Castelnovo as a family initiative, presented its Peo's capsule collection during Milan Design Week 2026 at Deodato Arte on Via Nerino. The brand specializes in handcrafted furniture using iron and corten as primary materials, focusing on unique pieces rather than serial production. The collection marks an evolution in the designer's language, shifting from rigid geometries to more fluid, rounded forms with continuous curves. A central seating piece features a seamless, unbroken curve without visible joints, creating a compact yet dynamic object with sculptural volume. The modular system includes coffee tables, consoles, and vertical bookshelves up to 2.5 meters tall, maintaining formal coherence across different configurations. Iron is treated to achieve smooth, compact surfaces that reflect light in controlled ways, altering perceptions of weight and rigidity. The presentation in a contemporary art space emphasizes the objects' autonomous presence beyond pure functionality. The collection maintains a restrained aesthetic during the design week, focusing on form, material, and light without complex scenography.
