Documentary on 'Una Boccata d'Arte' brings contemporary art to Italian villages

A documentary premiering September 9, 2023 on Sky Arte chronicles the fourth edition of 'Una Boccata d'Arte', an initiative launched in 2020 by Fondazione Elpis, Galleria Continua, and Threes. The project places 20 site-specific contemporary art works in remote Italian villages, running until September 24. The documentary, produced by TIWI, features interviews and footage of artists, residents, and curators. Marinan Nissim of Fondazione Elpis emphasizes the project's international scope and focus on young artists. Maurizio Rigillo of Galleria Continua highlights the careful pairing of artists with villages. Threes' curatorial team explores the relationship between sound and ecology.
