Documentary on Letizia Battaglia Screens at MIC Milan

On December 10 at 6 PM, the MIC – Museo Interattivo del Cinema in Milan will screen the documentary "Letizia Battaglia. Shooting the Mafia," directed by Kim Longinotto. Distributed in Italy by I Wonder Pictures, the film is part of a cinema series dedicated to Battaglia and her hometown Palermo, running from December 10 to 21. The documentary offers an intimate portrait of Battaglia, a key figure in Sicily and Italy from the 1970s to the 1990s, using unpublished interviews and archival footage to tell the story of a courageous artist and an unconventional life, while also providing a slice of Italian history.
