Documentary 'I'm in love with my car' Screens at Rome's Casa del Cinema

The documentary film 'I'm in love with my car' by Michele Mellara and Alessandro Rossi will be screened at the Casa del Cinema in Rome on March 29 and April 1, 2018, as part of the 12th edition of the Italia Doc series. The film explores the myth of the automobile and the love-hate relationship humans have had with cars for over a century. Produced by Mammut Film, founded by the two filmmakers, with support from Film Commission Torino Piemonte and in collaboration with Regione Emilia-Romagna Film Fund, the documentary has been presented at various Italian and international festivals and toured Italian cities including Trieste, Udine, Pordenone, Padova, Pescara, Torino, and Bologna. It combines archival footage with interviews with experts such as designers Chris Bangle and Andreas Zapatinas, urban researchers Michel Berengier, Judicael Picaut, and Arnaud Caen from ISFTTAR, and racing driver Dindo Capello, alongside stories of ordinary people.
