The documentary titled 'Generazione Fumetto', directed by Omar Rashid, is scheduled for release in Italian theaters after the summer of 2025. It recently premiered at Comicon in Naples and will be shown at the Best Movie Comics and Games event in Milan on June 7–8. This film explores how Italian comics transformed from a niche interest to a major cultural influence over the past ten years, featuring notable figures like Zerocalcare, Gipi, and Fumettibrutti. It showcases seven talented artists, including Giacomo Bevilacqua (Keison) and Mirka Andolfo, who share insights from their studios. Produced by Valmyn, the documentary examines the artistic value of comics, their evolution, cultural importance, and future potential.
