Documenta Pantanal Project to Feature at SP-Arte 2020 with Three Photographers

From April 1 to 5, 2020, the Documenta Pantanal initiative will feature the artwork of Araquém Alcântara, João Farkas, and Luciano Candisani at SP-Arte, Brazil's premier art fair. Alcântara, who has been active since 1970, was the pioneer in photographing all of Brazil's national parks. Farkas, co-director of 'Ruivaldo, O Homem que Salvou a Terra,' will also unveil the book 'Pantanal' in April 2020. Candisani's work emphasizes the water dynamics within the Pantanal. According to organizer Mônica Guimarães, their involvement underscores the importance of photography in promoting conservation efforts for the Pantanal. Documenta Pantanal seeks to engage a diverse audience through multimedia initiatives aimed at raising awareness and preserving this vital heritage.
