DJI Unveils Osmo Pocket 4 with 4Kp240 Video and Enhanced Imaging
DJI has officially launched the Osmo Pocket 4, a compact gimbal camera that builds upon its predecessor with significant video and photo enhancements. The device now captures 4Kp240 video, enabling 10x slow-motion playback at 24p, and offers 37-megapixel still images, a substantial increase from the Osmo Pocket 3's 9.4-megapixel limit. Imaging improvements include a 14-stop dynamic range with a true 10-bit D-Log profile for better color grading, alongside upgraded low-light performance and skin tone rendering. The native ISO range expands from 50-6400 to 50-12,800, and six new built-in Film Tones provide creative presets. Usability features include a brighter 1,000-nit OLED screen, 107GB of internal storage, and extended battery life of 240 minutes. New controls allow recording initiation via screen rotation, dedicated zoom and custom buttons, and a 5D joystick for camera movement. The three-axis gimbal, ActiveTrack 7 subject tracking, and Intelligent AutoFocus ensure stable, sharp footage. Currently available in China, global shipments begin next week with a starting price of €479 (approximately $580). U.S. availability is pending authorization.
