Ditta Artigianale Opens Fifth Cafe in Florence's Piazza Ferrucci, Continuing Urban Regeneration
On March 30, 2023, Ditta Artigianale, established by Francesco Sanapo and Patrick Hoffer, inaugurated its fifth cafe in Florence, located in Piazza Ferrucci. This new establishment aims to serve the local community and contribute to the revitalization of via della Fornace. Spanning 200 square meters, the interior, crafted by q-bic studio, showcases tropical-themed decor alongside a medieval garden designed by Silvia Ghirelli. The cafe features a bakery operated by Francesca Grillotti and Joshua Shuffman, a literary corner stocked with Forma Edizioni books, and an 'edicola' for newspapers and bread. The area, supported by Archea Associati, also includes Forma's publishing house and Rifugio Digitale. The first Ditta Artigianale cafe opened in 2014, with a new roastery in Fiesole launched in October 2022.
