Dissolvenze: Three Women Artists at USB Gallery Jesi
Curated by Annalisa Filonzi, the group exhibition 'Dissolvenze' at USB Gallery in Jesi features three Italian women artists exploring themes of dissolution and identity. Valentina Colella presents '29 Station of the Cross,' remnants of a web-performance on Facebook that recreates a personal, harrowing via crucis. Bianca Senigalliesi, a modern dancer, appears as a cam-girl in a video examining the relationship between body, identity, and image through movements before the virtual eye of the web. Perla Sardella contributes a short film blending clips and narrative, shot in Dubai, tracking a smartphone thief who leaves traces of the stolen device online. The exhibition runs until July 23, 2016, at USB Gallery, Via Mura Occidentali 27, Jesi.
