Disney+ Announces Star Launch with Boris Season 4 and Price Hike

Disney announced the upcoming fourth season of the Italian series "Boris," which will be part of its Star brand and available on Disney+ starting February 23, 2021. This revelation took place during a virtual event held in Italy. Alongside this, Disney disclosed a subscription price hike for new users, raising it to €8.99 monthly or €89.90 annually, effective on the same date. Current subscribers will maintain their rates until their first renewal post-August 22, 2021. The Star brand aims to deliver adult-themed programming, featuring titles like "Boris," an adaptation of Ferzan Özpetek's "Le Fate Ignoranti," and "The Good Mothers." Disney+ currently boasts 94.9 million subscribers and plans to enhance parental controls, with over 100 new titles, including 10 series each from Star Wars and Marvel.
