Discipline[s] Art Fair Launches in Aix-en-Provence Convent
Discipline[s], a new art fair, is set to launch in Aix-en-Provence from June 27 to July 6, 2025, at the historic Couvent des Prêcheurs, established between 1226 and 1277. Featuring approximately twenty exhibitors and over thirty artists, the event will pay homage to Paul Cézanne and Bill Viola. Communication for the fair is conducted through Instagram (@disciplines.art), as there is currently no official website. The fair is overseen by Eric Schlosser, previously the head of TAF in Tbilisi and experienced in Moscow and Vilnius, alongside Florence Verrier from Galerie Parallax and Pierre Allizan of Galerie 13. Notable exhibitors include Ars Longa, Ramand, Nea, and Fondation Villa Datris. This event is part of the Cézanne 25 program, which commemorates the centenary of the artist's passing, featuring a significant retrospective at Musée Granet with over 130 artworks. Bill Viola will also be recognized with a special video art piece.
