Dimitri Kozyrev's 'Lost Landscapes' explores urban freeway perception

Dimitri Kozyrev creates paintings and drawings that capture the fragmented visual experience of driving on freeways. Born in St. Petersburg in 1967, the artist now lives and works in Santa Barbara, California. His recent series 'Lost Landscapes' transforms observations from the driver's seat into abstracted urban scenes.
