Dilara Findikoglu Launches Unconventional Bridal Capsule Collection

London-based designer Dilara Findikoglu, a Central Saint Martins graduate known for Gothic corsetry and Victorian jackets, has launched an 8-piece bridal capsule adapted from her ready-to-wear line. The collection translates her signature elements—coy ruffles, body-hugging corsets, gauzy millefeuille layers, and unfinished fabrics—into paler hues like ivory, champagne, touches of black, gray-blue taffeta inspired by Marie Antoinette, and baby pink. Prices range from £1500 to £3000, available exclusively on her website. Findikoglu has already dressed photographer Harley Weir and Vogue Scandinavia editor Allyson Shiffman in custom bridal pieces. The designer, who grew up in a conservative family, imbues her work with a tension between traditional femininity and subversive sensuality, aiming to allow women to express every part of themselves on their wedding day. The capsule includes a nearly entirely lingerie-inspired dress with tiny panties, ruffled bum, Victoriana waist corset, and ruffled garters. Findikoglu states she is not trying to create controversy but to let women feel most beautiful in whatever they choose.
