Diffusion Choir: kinetic sculpture mimics bird flocking with custom software
Diffusion Choir, a kinetic sculpture commissioned by Biomed Realty for the atrium of its Cambridge, Massachusetts headquarters, mimics the flight of bird flocks through 400 paper elements. Created by Sosolimited in collaboration with Plebian Design and Hypersonic, the installation uses original software to independently move each element while adhering to a group logic, transforming migratory patterns into an elegant choreography.
