Diego Perrone and Andrea Sala Open MEGA in Milan

exhibition · 2026-05-05

MEGA, a new non-profit exhibition space in Milan, launched on April 5, 2016, during Miart week. Located at Piazza Vetra 2, the 15-square-meter venue is the studio of photographer Delfino Sisto Legnani, who transformed it into a versatile space for artistic residencies and experimental projects. Curated by Davide Giannella and Giovanna Silva, MEGA's inaugural show, "Unghia," features a dual solo exhibition by Diego Perrone and Andrea Sala. After over a year of collaboration, the artists present works that blend analog and digital photography, using emulsions, latex prints, self-built darkrooms, and sensitive supports to decontextualize and dismantle objects. The exhibition runs until May 3, 2016. Future programming includes two to three shows per year, book presentations, and pure photography projects. In June, a collective will present an entomology of architecture project featuring unique nests. In September, Nathalie Du Pasquier is invited to exhibit. After May 3, a group show of unknown photographers will be held.
