Diego Marcon's 'Glassa' exhibition at Centro Pecci, Prato

exhibition · 2026-04-27

The Centro per l'arte contemporanea Luigi Pecci in Prato is hosting 'Glassa,' the most extensive exhibition of Diego Marcon's work, which will be on display until February 4, 2024. Curated by Stefano Collicelli Cagol and Elena Magini, this project spans ten rooms and covers over 1,000 square meters. It showcases both new and reinterpreted pieces that delve into concepts of life, death, and the essence of art. Initiated in early 2021, Marcon selected the Gamberini wing, crafted by Italo Gamberini, to interact with Maurice Nio's 2006 extension. The exhibition features films, animations, and sculptures, including 'TINPO' (2006) and 'Untitled' (2017), culminating in the final room with 'Dolle,' a new film accompanied by animatronic sculptures and porcelain sculptures of deceased dogs.
