Diego Cibelli's Dual Exhibitions at Capodimonte Bridge Art and Design

Diego Cibelli (Naples, 1987) presents two complementary exhibitions at the Museo di Capodimonte in Naples: 'Incontri Sensibili – L’Arte del Danzare assieme' and 'Gates'. Curated by Angela Tecce and Sylvain Bellenger, 'Incontri Sensibili' explores the boundary between nature and artifice through works that integrate minimal abstraction and surreal organicism, engaging with ceramics, engravings, and paintings from Capodimonte's historical collection. 'Gates', curated by Alessandra Troncone and Valter Luca De Bartolomeis, focuses on the phenomenology of art as techne, reconstructing a creative workshop in the Real Fabbrica di Porcellana di Capodimonte to reveal the generative process behind finished works. Both exhibitions highlight Cibelli's fluid movement between art and design, ontology and phenomenology, and his dialogue with the museum's collections. The exhibitions took place in 2021.
