Diego Cibelli designs ceramics and visual identity for Capodimonte's Stufa dei fiori

Diego Cibelli (Naples, 1987) has created the visual identity and ceramic designs for Delizie Reali, a project for the reopening of the Stufa dei fiori, a 19th-century greenhouse in the Real Bosco di Capodimonte in Naples, restored as a Tisaneria-Bistrot. The project includes plates, packaging, labels, paper bags, tablecloths, and staff uniforms. Cibelli drew inspiration from the Firmian collection of graphic works held at the Museo e Real Bosco di Capodimonte, comprising 20,000 prints in 227 volumes. The visual coordination was aided by graphic designer Marco Gallo. Delizie Reali aims to create Naples' first urban agroecosystem that is educational, productive, and recreational within a historic museum site. Cibelli's work continues the tradition of Neapolitan design and ceramics, echoing the vision of Benedetto Gravagnuolo and the legacy of Ugo Marano and Riccardo Dalisi. The project was commissioned for the reopening of the Stufa dei fiori, directed by Sylvain Bellenger.
