Die Kräfte hinter den Formen: Geologie und Kunst in Krefeld
An intriguing exhibition, "The Forces Behind the Forms: Earth History, Matter, Process in Contemporary Art," is currently taking place in Krefeld. Curated by Magdalena Holzhey, it features twelve global artists at the renowned Lange and Esters houses, designed by Mies van der Rohe. This display, having previously been showcased in Innsbruck, will later head to Kunstmuseum Thun. It focuses on geological influences and the hidden forces that mold nature and artistic expression while honoring Joseph Beuys on the 30th anniversary of his death. The exhibition runs until July 31, 2016, and includes an additional cabinet exhibition curated by Jens Risch.
