Didier Fiuza Faustino's Furniture as Social Critique at Galerie Michel Rein

Didier Fiuza Faustino presented an exhibition of furniture pieces at Galerie Michel Rein in Paris from October 20 to December 17, 2016. The show featured objects with evocative names such as "la voyeuse," "le confident," and "la caquetoire," which explore intimate, social, or sensory relationships inherent in seating. Faustino's work reinterprets historical furniture typologies to critique contemporary social dynamics. The exhibition was reviewed in Artpress n°440 in January 2017.
