Diana Markosian's 'Father' Debuts in U.S. at Armenian Museum
In Watertown, Massachusetts, the Armenian Museum of America is showcasing the U.S. premiere of Diana Markosian's work titled 'Father.' This exhibition is on display from May 29 through September 13 at the Adele and Haig Der Manuelian Galleries. Anahit Gasparyan serves as the curator, while the exhibition is co-produced by Foam in Amsterdam and Les Rencontres d’Arles, with support from the JHM Charitable Foundation. Markosian immigrated to the United States at the age of seven alongside her mother and brother, leaving her father behind. After fifteen years, she returned to Armenia in search of the man who had become a stranger to her.
