The Dezeen Events Guide has selected seven architecture and design happenings for May 2026. DesignMarch, taking place in Reykjavík, Iceland from 6 to 10 May, will celebrate its 18th year with the theme 'Connections'. In the UK, London Craft Week will occur from 11 to 17 May, featuring approximately 1,000 artisans across different crafts. The inaugural Global Design Forum in Istanbul, Turkey, runs from 13 to 16 May, presenting discussions and installations themed 'Worlds in Contact'. Frieze New York at The Shed, from 13 to 17 May, commemorates its 14th year with prominent galleries. Melbourne Design Week in Australia, from 14 to 24 May, marks its 10th anniversary with 'Design the world you want'. NYCxDesign in New York City will host its 14th edition from 14 to 20 May, while Clerkenwell Design Week in London, from 19 to 21 May, will showcase over 200 showrooms.
